Daily answers: not verifiedThis is a dated observation of the official home page, not a live feed. On 2 November 2026 it displayed Journey #021 and the label “Today: Boston”. The label is reproduced only as short identifying metadata; we have not inferred the day’s questions from it. If the official page now shows a different journey, follow the official number.

Seven checked, progressive hints
These are our own short topic labels and learning prompts for Journey #021 · 2 November 2026, checked against its public page context. They are not a reproduction of the seven question texts. Open a first nudge before a more specific source note. The latter can give away a useful name: leave it closed if you want to solve unaided.
We have checked the facts below against the linked sources. We have not submitted them as today’s answers, verified the complete accepted set, or measured their rarity. Follow the exact restrictions shown in your official game.

US air links

Think of an airport on the American side, not a European connection on the way there.
Watch the boundary. A real route in the relevant year is the key distinction. A city you can reach through a transfer is not the same evidence as a scheduled Dublin service.

Aer Lingus’s published summer 2026 plan explicitly includes Boston and New York JFK from Dublin. This verifies a route-history example for the stated year; it is not a live flight or fare check. An airport and its city may have different names, so keep the location clear.

A family connection
Open a gentle nudge for round 02
Work outward from one relationship you know: a parent is easier to justify than a familiar surname.
Watch the boundary. A married family member may have a different birth surname. Conversely, sharing a surname is not proof of belonging to this family.

The National Park Service traces Joseph P. Kennedy’s marriage to Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald and their children, including John. This supplies an actual relationship chain rather than a name association. Use the official game’s own family boundary.

An everyday American word
Open a gentle nudge for round 03
Picture one ordinary object, then name what an American would call it.
Watch the boundary. A spelling variant does not change the word for the object. Food packaging, clothing and getting between floors are useful mental categories.

The British Council contrasts US chips with British crisps, and elevator with lift. These are vocabulary differences rather than spelling changes. Its worksheet is a language reference, not an authority on every Irish dialect or the game’s accepted list.

Round 04 / our topic label
Irish roots across the Atlantic
Open a gentle nudge for round 04
Recall a person first, then one documented family link. Do not start from how Irish a surname sounds.
Watch the boundary. Irish ancestry and being born on the island are different claims. A biographical source should make the connection explicit.

The National Park Service traces JFK’s paternal line to Patrick Kennedy of Dunganstown, County Wexford. That makes a specific, checkable family connection. It does not tell us whether another celebrity has comparable roots or how often any name is chosen today.

A place in the Boston area
Open a gentle nudge for round 05
A recognisable open space can be as useful a landmark as a tall building.
Watch the boundary. Check the place itself and the boundary on your game screen; do not substitute a whole state for a particular sight.

The City of Boston identifies Boston Common as a city park founded in 1634. The memory link is “Common → public green space”, not a generic building. Keep this separate from other nearby parks, and use the official question’s geographic scope.

A name on both sides
Open a gentle nudge for round 06
Try a place name, then prove that the American match is a real settlement.
Watch the boundary. A road, pub or business with an Irish name is not automatically a town. The kind of entry in the geographic record matters.

The US Census Bureau’s 2026 California incorporated-place table lists Dublin city (GEOID 0620018). Dublin also appears in the island’s county geography. The useful check is the shared place name, not an assumption about identical boundaries, population or naming history.

Boston on screen

Think of a recurring fictional place, rather than where a production crew happened to shoot.
Watch the boundary. A story’s setting and its filming locations are separate facts. An actor’s birthplace does not establish either one.

Cheers Beacon Hill’s own history describes the Boston pub as the inspiration for the setting of Cheers. The useful connection is the programme and its Boston bar; a film merely shot somewhere in Massachusetts would need separate evidence of its story setting.

How to use the help without reading ahead
- Confirm your official game shows #021. These notes do not automatically move to a new day.
- Read the exact official rule, then open only that round’s first nudge.
- Keep the learning note closed unless you want a named example and its factual explanation.
- After playing, compare the official result with the source. A fact can be true without matching a question’s boundary or the accepted spelling.
If the official journey has changed, use the date finder for #021 or follow the new official challenge. Never relabel these notes as a later day’s solutions.
If you came looking for yesterday
Use the journey date finder. It points to official playable journeys and clearly distinguishes observed metadata from an answer archive. Replaying an archived journey does not count towards your streak according to the official archive notice.
How this page can be updated responsibly
A daily update starts with a dated public observation. Any specific hint must be written independently and checked against the exact journey. Any answer needs a lawful source, the matching challenge identifier, a factual check and an editorial review. If that evidence is missing, we keep the status explicit rather than publishing a solution-shaped guess.
